The five pillars of our ESG framework

We contribute to Dubai’s and the UAE’s economy by championing business excellence.

We pledge and measure monetary and in-kind support for local community partners, NGOs, and international humanitarian organisations as one of Dubai’s most responsible corporate citizens.

We track and improve our diversity and inclusion performance around recruitment, Emiratisation, training and talent development, and health and safety.

We deliver enhanced energy efficiencies by tracking metrics including fuel, electricity and water consumption, and waste.

We monitor internal audits and ISO certifications on environmental and health management systems, including procurement spend on local business, SMEs, and women-owned businesses.

Environment

TECOM Group’s properties are in material compliance with all applicable environmental laws and regulations. Our environmental policy adheres to strict guidelines to limit the impact on the land and the surrounding areas in which we operate.

Enabling the UAE’s low carbon future

Our work is geared to positively contribute towards the Net Zero by 2050 strategic initiative, which aligns with the UAE’s Principles of the 50 roadmap and the Paris Agreement’s goal to reduce global greenhouse gas emissions. TECOM Group’s repertoire of energy efficiency enhancements includes solar power and retrofit projects to optimise electricity and water consumption across our portfolio.

These industry-leading efforts were recognised by the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy at the inaugural Dubai Demand Side Management Recognition Programme awards ceremony in 2024.
